"i'm in love with a canadian man..."
Hahaha. Now this is something that I'm not afraid to admit. Not ever.
And maybe it's time to admit it now, especially that it his birthday today.
I would like to say...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLIN MOCHRIE!********
And you thought it was someone I know personally. HAHAHA! I wish dude! xD
Even with all of this fanatic tendencies (AGAIN.), I think I do owe him half of the happiness I experience lately, along with the entire cast of
Whose Line Is It Anyway? And just like Ryan Stiles did one time on the show (by performing it of course), I'd be glad to found a cult about Colin. Perhaps it'd go like this:
According to the words of the Important One...it's kinda charming in a gawky way, isn't it?Hahaha. I do love Colin.
********
Oddly, I came across with his horoscope today:
You are born today: You're active and dynamic. You have a marvelous sense of humor--generally quite dry. You make people laugh. You often spring surprises on others. (You love this.) Whatever you do, you do passionately. You are forever childlike. You work hard to prepare for anything you consider important. Expect some changes this year, perhaps as significant as in 1998. Birth date of: Ben Stiller, Mark Twain, Winston Churchill.True, true. Couldn't agree more. That thing tells us all about Colin, indeed! No wonder he's one of the regular performers on the show, and obviously a favorite too.
Note: I wonder, 1998 was the debut of Whose Line Is It Anyway US version. Does that mean that the changes this one's talking about is as good as the show? *grins widely*********
Did you notice I am not telling
anything except that
I love him so much and that it's his birthday today? Yeah, I'm kinda lost right now. But it doesn't defeat the purpose of posting something very important here. Hehe. Go figure. =p
********
P.S. I would've posted two more things this week, if it hadn't been for our one-act play and crappy assignments that I would like to be damned in hell for all I care. One, just a comparison, no biggie; and two, probably one of the most exciting posts I'll ever write, I mean, for me at least. ;)

fan fic trends and hanging stories
*SIGH* I have a confession to make.
I'm in the midst of my literary writing career. And I could mean it in either a good or bad way; I don't really know. It's like I'm lost in my own world of love stories and love fantasies. Ahahaha, I'm such a sucker.
*******
As I surveyed into my files of "hanging" fan fictions and/or stories, I think I've seen a common trend lately. I'll try to expose some of them here. (Why? Wala lang, trip ko lang. Hehe.)
(In chronological order. Almost, at least.)
Fan Fiction # 1
- of a teenage show
- is focused on teenage love (yes, all that first love-slash-puppy love crap)
- and on the never-ending twist of girl-guy best friend love (one-sided, unfortunately)
- yet, there's also the almost-perfect new girl as an antagonist, apparently toying with my protagonist
- is planned as done, but only reached chapter 8
Fan Fiction # 2
- of a popular singing contest (very easy clue =p)
- of a contestant who had a very popular and controversial issue with another contestant (sooo darn easy!)
- had a common trend with other fanfics of the same pairing/s
- is also planned as done, but never really started it
Fan Fiction # 3
- of another singing contest
- but one of the protagonists is my fictional creation
- yet another girl-guy best friend love, and only one-sided, as usual
- still working on the plans alone (believe it or not! xD)
Fan Fiction # 4
- of a not-popular-but-nevertheless-nostalgic live-action series
- oddly, my favorite character (and obviously the protagonist) was actually a villain on the show
- the love-interest is, once again, a product of my twisted mind
- about a girl who doesn't want to fall in love again, and therefore shuts every possibility of having an intimate relationship with anyone (although she's not becoming a hard-core feminist =p)
- still planning!
Fan Fiction # 5
- of various TV shows (mostly popular teen series and sitcoms)
- the only one of its kind in my book (crossover fan fiction)
- is centered on high school life
- already started writing it (kahit papano!), but I stopped for awhile
Commercial: If you're thinking this is already waaaaaaay too many, think again. Yeah, that's just what I'm trying to tell you.
Fan Fiction # 6
- of a TV show (a bit of reality type)
- the longest and most complicated one I've ever written: 40 chapters and lots of love twists (best friend love, past love, a pretend relationship that turns to true love, and a grim theme of betrayal)
- the female protagonist is my creation (yet again...)
- although it's already 40 chapters, I'm still halfway there
Fan Fiction # 7
- of a very, very, very popular sitcom
- and strangely, it is focused on a non-regular character and a made-up one
- tackles a very sensitive social issue (that's why I'm hesitating a bit about this one)
- planning...
Fan Fiction # 8 (in fairness, my favorite number!)
- of a drama series, and just to give you an idea, it's my most favorite show =p
- one of my longer fics, I believe
- about a character of the show and the love interest, which I made up, and they're dealing with their past; the so-called third party is also my creation
- probably one of the saddest ones I've tried to write, but it has no ending yet, which means I'm still writing it
Fan Fiction # 9
- of the same show in # 8
- of a pairing in the show that I really, truly adore and wish to happen in the series itself
- light-hearted and funny (I think) compared to the previous one
- another one of those wrong-set-up-turned-out-to-be-right-after-all kind of love stories
- a major character helps the couple to be together, in many ways unthinkable
- still drafting some parts
Fan Fiction # 10
- of still the same show in #s 8 and 9
- almost the same storyline as the one in # 8, but with a whole new focus; another made-up character with a main partner (new one and a major character), but still deals with the past love with another character of the show (same as before, however I'm not too in favor of this character anymore)
- different in a way that I've tried to make it more like the one in # 9, light-hearted and funny, instead of being incredibly sad
- the most active story in the pack as of the moment
And lastly...
Fan Fiction # 11
- of a famous comedy show
- perhaps my most favorite, and yet the saddest and the hardest story I ever came up with (ironic, isn't it?)
- about an extreme case of unrequited love imaginable, where the person you love knows you exist and knows exactly just how you feel, but because of the past, refuses to deal with the subject anymore
- the characters are extreme opposites too: the guy's a player, the gal's a hopeless romantic trying to find her true love (I guess by now you know who loves whom. =p)
- writing...
********
It is plenty, but you know what? There are two other things (a very famous movie and a pretty popular series for the young-at-heart) that I attempted to write about, but lacked the courage to do so since I'm not really all too familiar with them. But if I am... ;p

in love?
Two things have happened to me that, I think, need some attention by writing about it, and guess what they're about?
********
I don't really know if I'd felt it the first place, but I think I'll never feel the same way again when it comes to him. Let me tell you how I knew that.
Him: Hi!
Me: [waves]
Him: Bakit ngayon ka lang?
Me: Eh may ginawa pa kami.
Him: Ano naman 'yun?
Me: Basta, tungkol sa play sa school.
Him: [scoffs, as if I was joking]
Me: [walks away]
Normally, I would entertain that scoff and tell him how cocky he'd be with that statement. But with all that has happened, whether he's involved or not, somehow that changed. I didn't even bother to answer him back, to give him a glaring look as part of our everyday greetings and jokes, to even tell him something.
Or maybe it was because I was really tired at the time, just like he said?
********
And then there was this mystery guy whom I've been crushing on. Yes, that one whom I always think of to be my soul mate. Do the same name and the same birthday ring a bell?
Mind you, that person and the one mentioned above aren't the same person. Not at all. They could have had the same abilities, capabilities, and God forbid, the same cockiness and arrogance, but I'd choose Mr. Soul Mate rather than him any day.
The topic was put in the spotlight earlier, when JB, a classmate of mine, tried to get the papers that were kept inside my iPod case, just like he always does when he catches me writing something on a stray piece of paper. Since they were just two song lyrics, I refused to show him those, just like I always do when he butts into my business.
He always points out that everything I write about is love (which is only partly true) and is determined to know about it. Then, because Joanna was there also (and thank God Sheilah wasn't, or I'll be doomed), my dreaded conversation actually happened. And so they talked about "love", but only for a minute or so.
To be quite frank, I still don't think I'm in love. I mean, not this time. And I don't think I need to be in my position right now. I feel too happy and giddy to expect so much more.
********
P.S. Happy Birthday, Mr. Brad Sherwood! =D

NO CLASSES on DECEMBER 8!
This calls for a very special post.
We have a confirmation, ladies and gentlemen (I like using that phrase lately, don't I? =p). I think I'll be going to the get-together at December 7! Thanks to a very discreet announcement letter from our principal, our schedule from November to January was determined. NO CLASSES on DECEMBER 8. I didn't know about it until
Joanna pointed it out.
What I'm worried about is the details about that event. I'm very sad that I can't even go to the forums that frequent anymore, since being a senior student has a lot of responsibilities in my school. And I mean A LOT. *sigh* To the weirdos, if you're reading this, please give me an update. Thanksies! =)
*sings* When I woke up tonight I said I'm gonna make somebody love me...

masquerade!
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a theme for the Junior-Senior Promenade: The Masquerade!
I was really glad when Arianne, our student council president, announced that. Our class, in particular, is actually in favor of that theme, instead of the Hollywood one (which I think doesn't really have any special things going on, aside from red carpet entrances and celebrities. But heck, I don't want a costume party!).
At least I don't need a new dress. I just hope it still fits. Hahaha.
Omigosh, I remember tuloy the masquerade costume party last Halloween. Um, never mind. I'm just being paranoid again. O_o

[i'll-be-damned dead air]
If you're thinking I'm not being myself now, then maybe you're right. I'm such in a bad mood today;
I'm upset and mad.WHY IS THAT WHEN PEOPLE MISUNDERSTAND YOU, THEY ALWAYS TEND TO JUDGE YOU FROM THERE?I need an answer.
Tell me that you didn't judge me, that you know me well enough to think of me as such, that you never ever talked bad about me behind my back, and see if I believe you. SEE IF I EVEN CARE.
I've always hated to be mad and loathing. But sometimes, people who think they're so smart that they feel the destructive power of self-love, become one of the most immature ones there is. And I have to tell you, probably they're just too smart for their own good.
...there. It's all gone now, I think.
You know what? I'm just afraid these people won't change, no matter how you tell them they're not doing any good. Poor souls.
At least I'm not one of them.

to celebrate perhaps
It was our report card distribution once more earlier, and surprisingly, I was more of excited than worried, even though I might have three or more subjects that had failed to meet my own expectations.
I already knew I received Second Honors the day before, upon seeing the posted ranking at the Hacienda. I don't know ha, I was kinda expecting myself to be one (and I swear to you I even wanted to kill myself if I hadn't been one of them), and at the same time, I somehow knew I wasn't going to reach that. I'm so glad it had gone my way.
Anyway, as expected, most of my grades became lower than the last quarter. And take note: my grade in Accounting dropped a staggering five points (Yes! FIVE!). And all the other ones are lower than maybe one point. Another good news, everything else rose either by a point, three points or even more.
I'm actually satisfied over-all, although my grades almost went against each other. Hehe.
Oh and the ranking? It didn't change at all. =p

i knew it. haha.
| You Belong in 1969 |
If you scored...
1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!
1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.
1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!
1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.
1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good! |
