oh the havoc!

i thought that sounded so cool, so forgive me for my quirkiness/weirdness. haha.

WARNING: if you can't take my obsessions anymore, don't read it; it's full of them. obsessions are my life anyway.

last night was the most panicking, disappointing yet still too amusing night of my entire existence.

i went to my cousin's house (he's kinda my 'fraternal twin'; we're eight months apart) because they have myx and we don't. yeah...life sucks, sometimes. anyway, "they" would appear on myx at 10 in the evening, and 30 minutes before the show, my tita, my cousin and i tried to set up the vcr, when we realized the tv doesn't have the 'out' outlet (is that right?). she suggested that we should try the one upstairs. we did, but unluckily for us, the tv had the same outlets. then on to my lola's tv, with my dad already helping out. guess what? still nothing happened.

five minutes left, i was suddenly switched on to panic-mode. my cousin and i kinda gave up and finally thought of resorting to a dvd camcorder and my cellphone. tita (she's determined) tried another way for the vcr to work, as soon as she pressed the 'on' button of the tv, it was already starting. i felt a bit guilty though, because she was constantly repeating my whole name ("hay nako, jessamine beatriz...") in desperation...well, they became my angels in disguise after that anyway. she also pressed the 'record' button afterwards. i recorded one on my phone and after maybe, 3 minutes later my cousin had the dvd camcorder with him.

i have to say, band on the run is a good exposure for them, even if they don't get to play songs, unless it's background music. it's also good to see the more wacky side of them at least, even if that was full of commercials and advertisements ("to download...just type blah blah..."). hehe.

after the 10-minute recording, the tape on the vcr recorded nothing, and the video on my phone and on the camcorder was good, only that some parts...okay, not some...but most of the parts were filled with our voices.

actually, and naturally for me, i felt very silly of myself after that. i guess that is one of the side effects of being such. and hey, can i help it if i will do anything by any means just to get what i want?

too bad there are more or less 10 more episodes of that. oh well, as my cousin said, "at least nakuha mo 'yung pilot." yeah, right.
