three on threefor a change, i'll go back to my other hobby: watching lots of tv. hehehe.
amazing race 9
i found this season a bit more exciting than the previous ones... i don't know, it's quite enjoyable i guess. and maybe because joseph and monica didn't get into the finals. no offense guys, i just happen to root for their rivals: bj and tyler.bj and tyler: aka the hippies. they're my bet because i commonly root for those who don't tend to insult and berate each other after one or more mistakes (e.g. kris and jon, brandon and nicole, the linz family). they take the race seriously yet cheerfully at the same time. and besides, i love funny guys. :P
eric and jeremy: aka the frat boys. funny as it may seem, they're the team whom i loved, loathed, liked, and one time or another, rooted for to win the race. they're like colin and christie, rob and amber, freddy and kendra of the race. they're not the most likable, but hey, you gotta admit, they can win this thing. (did you notice i compared them to the boy-girl pairs? it's purely coincidental, but i found it kinda funny.)
ray and yolanda: hmm... and then there are those whom i feel okay about. i don't care if they win or not, though i like it when yolanda's in a good mood. she's funny.
in conclusion, this is a pretty good finale. there's no one i hate to win or hate to lose. i considered eric and jeremy the bad guys before, but since they had realized the power of karma earlier, they've been good boys. hehe.
american idol 5
a pretty good season, i must say. everyone's got something, but too bad all the other greats have been eliminated already. but this is the best top 3 in all five seasons for me.
katharine mcphee: almost everyone's rooting for. if you ask me, i expect her to win but i'm rooting for an all-boys finale. i don't have anything against her; in fact, i've always wished i had a voice like hers... but if she don't show what she's really capable of (for future records), then she's leaving the finale on the two gentlemen.
elliot yamin: ooh that voice. i've never heard anyone sing that smoothly, well, since he came along. i even remember simon saying, "he's the best male vocal that has ever been on the show," or something like that. does that mean he's better than clay aiken and ruben studdard? just a thought. anyway, i believe he can win, only if he chooses good songs.
taylor hicks: hmmm, since this is a subjective post, i'm going to say that he's the most likely to win this thing. he's never been on the bottom three (like carrie underwood and kelly clarkson), and many people like him. i admit, i do too. heck, he's the most hyperactive person i've ever seen on that stage. surprisingly, he sings well most of the time, any song for that matter. i'm not sure if what i'm saying is actually right though. i didn't tune in that much until they got rid of ace young there. no offense, again. so...yeah, and i want a guy to win this time! enough of the divas.
but then again, anyone can win. it's fine by me. besides, i can ask God though who will win, but He can't tell me for some reason. hmm.
