one hell of a week! part 1

okay, this might be a rrreeeaaalllyyy long post. oo, kahit two-part ito. too many things have happened and i'll try to cover them all. so, brace yourselves... >:)

******** sunday, july 30 ********
we did our online dvd shopping at last. i was really dying to buy all those dvds i couldn't find here, especially HOUSE, M.D. (look at my REQUESTS section, the pre-order is crossed out!) and A HARD DAY'S NIGHT. the only downside is, september ko pa makukuha lahat yun. *whispers to herself* patience is a virtue. patience is a virtue. patience is a virtue...

******** monday, july 31 ********
just randomness.
ham and i, during computer class, was inevitably, spontaneously and unknowingly singing the same song. i hadn't noticed until i stopped and heard her. hehe. and guess what the song was?

"as soon as forever is through... i'll be over you..."

HAHAHA. XD

******** tuesday, august 1 ********
and because i was too giddy with excitement, i'd started my HOUSE, M.D. marathon last tuesday. i couldn't resist eh. and just ask the people living in our house, even my friends at YM.

speaking of house, i'm torn between three men on the show. *sigh*

hahaha. ang seryoso ano?

******** wednesday, august 2 ********
i finally passed my ateneo application form to our guidance counselor. it was supposed to be done last monday but she'd extended the deadline up until thursday. anyway, i really didn't care how my essay would be read. i even didn't proofread it that much. wala lang. at least it's done.

i love spreading the beatles love! i was assigned to be the music technician (as our 3rd year social science teacher had told us) of our group during the prayer service (see previous post). eh di ako makahanap ng matinong music. puro na lang beethoven at mozart na nakakagulat naman. the instrumental ones sounded to relaxing to be used on a reflective prayer.

coincidentally, i saw the cd of beatles songs, which are done by guitars and are instrumental. i thought, well, let's give this a try. good thing it sounded so much better than any other sounds i'd dug up in my father's music collection. i specifically used blackbird and the long and winding road for our background music. it turned out well.

but (here comes the good part!), that day was scheduled for our reflection writing. mr. angeles, our christian living teacher, asked us for some instrumental music while we write. gold and i volunteered, even though i clearly didn't have any "inspirational" music in my iPod. coincidentally again, my stupid cassette didn't play her cd. and then i was the class' last hope. haha.

and so we wrote and wrote and wrote. and since the songs were originally by the beatles, i was a bit tempted to sing! hahaha. the best part here is, when the songs hey jude and let it be were playing, many of my classmates were reacting that they were familiar. even sheilah, who has overly claimed she's not interested in the oldies music. i was amused by the scenery. hmm, at least the music is familiar.

after the period, my teacher approached me and asked me about the music (how many songs, if it's mp3 or just in my iPod, you know, those things). he'd like a copy daw. i became more amused. another classmate of mine, berna, asked for a copy too! i was becoming more and more proud! hahaha... lastly, rizelle (i hope you're reading this, HI!) gave me a knowing look and told me she knew.

(btw, rizelle liked the bloomfields right away when she first saw them in eastwood. hmm, i wish i could go to eastwood too! gah.)

******** thursday, august 3 ********
hardcore p.e. practice dude. who would've thought i couldn't bare wearing heels for more than two hours?! and to think, i wore the same shoes during prom night, and guess what? that lasted ten hours. i guess dancing ballroom made it a bit more difficult. *sarcastic*

ironic, eh? napagalitan pa kami ng principal.

whoopsie. got to end this first. too long. :P
