happy birthday, david tennant! *g*(Before one can react: Yes, I cheated on the date for the purpose of greeting one of my favorite actors ever on his special day. Haha.)
Hey, is it my fault that many people, who happen to be the ones I admire, have their birthdays on the first half of the year? Of course NOT. =P
So I'm here once again to greet someone on his very special day. *Ahem*

Well, since it's not my "thing" to reveal the birthday celebrant's (whom I am greeting) age, I will still not do it this time around. Besides, I would be spoiling some of the fun, wouldn't I?
Coincidentally and like Robert Sean Leonard, David also does theater work, and that's where he started. After moving to London, he performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company where he played various characters such as Touchstone (As You Like It) and Romeo (Romeo and Juliet). He has, like recently, appeared in various BBC TV serials. To quote Wikipedia (again...), "Tennant appeared in several high-profile dramas for the BBC, including Takin' Over the Asylum (1994), He Knew He Was Right (2004), Blackpool (2004), Casanova (2005) and The Quatermass Experiment (2005)."
But unlike RSL (*cough*underrated*cough*), David actually gained popularity in the entire United Kingdom for his portrayal of the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who. He's currently dating actress Sophia Myles (Doctor Who guest, Tristan + Isolde) since 2005.

This one actually proves that I have higher respect on actors who do theater work more than the ones who do only television and/or movie work. I've recently proved that when I watched Rock da Vote in Music Museum this week. Live performance is the hardest performance and presentation to do. (Side note: I have also proved that Filipinos really have natural talents within them. The cast of the said play have the wits to improvise. And to think we don't have improvisation comedy companies in the country, even though I'm sure they had training.)
Regardless, this celebration makes my day. And do remember, DT deserves the attention he gets today. For that, he earns my admiration. Cheers again, Mr. Tennant! =)
