birthdays and lots of them (part 2)

Oh yes. The ever great Sir Paul McCartney is now sixty-five. Wait, remember when I told you I don't reveal the ages of the people I greet? It's just that Sir Paul's age is somewhat already known by lots of people. And besides, when Paul turned sixty-four last year, that was the saddest irony I've ever come across, aside from my irony, that is. Hahaha. Anyway, on the brighter side, having Paul guest on Larry King Live last June 27, it was such fun to see him being playful and childish (in a good way) despite his age. And you know how vulnerable I am to that kind of attitude. Haha. That was probably the moment where I absolutely adored Paul as a person, not as a musician. How I wish I could see those kind of moments again. =)

and ringo's a lucky sixty-seven year old! - july 7

I just thought that I caught the very best day of Ringo's birthday, if ever that sounded right. Why? This particular birthday spelt as July 7, 2007; that's 07/07/07 in another format. Isn't that great? What's more fascinating is that Ringo turned sixty-seven today, and looking just like he had been for the past forty years. And I'm not kidding. Even though Ringo was the oldest of the four, he absolutely didn't look like it, until now. Because Ringo's such a cool guy, he certainly deserves to be lucky. And so...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RINGO STARR! I'd like to call you Richard someday, Mr. Starkey. ;)

transformers: bringing my childhood (and fangirl-ness) back - june 11

Okay, I know this is already beyond "forgivable" late, but hey, better late than never, I always say. Anyways, watching Transformers the Movie actually made me a fan again: of Shia LaBeouf and of the old Transformers cartoon. But more of Shia, so...yeah. Hahahaha. To be quite honest, these past few years I have been nonchalant of Shia's projects (which are movies, BTW), and I never really knew I'd fall for that all over again, this time with his new movie. Mind you, I first saw Shia in Even Stevens, and really, he was SO young back then. I never thought that he would be this new rising movie star. And hey, I should be thankful of that, right? Hahaha. So even though this birthday greeting is over two months ago already, I think I should congratulate Shia for a wonderful movie, for me at least. ;)

Edit: And now I've watched Surf's Up. Yep, I still adore him. =p

Weeee! I have the most coincidental birthdays in the palm of my hand. Just kidding. About the palm of my hand, of course. The two people this time are Topher Grace, who played Eric Forman (That 70's Show), and Omar Epps, who plays Dr. Eric Foreman (House, M.D.). Isn't that cool? =D

Topher Grace (June 19). Ahh. Just like Shia LaBeouf, I've been a fan of Topher since he started in That 70's show and then he got off and made his own movies. Probably his instinct to be so mysterious about his personal life and be so low-profile made me feel he's someone who unreachable yet still admirable in his own talents. Besides, I know that he's kind to all who adores him (like me!). Isn't that right, Mr. Grace? ^__^

And Omar Epps (June 20). Since I adore the entire House cast, of course Mr. Epps wouldn't be left behind. Who wouldn't love the most sane (therefore the least screwed up) doctor around Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital? That's why I have to greet Dr. Foreman for being so righteous in everything he does. Except the part about "not wanting to turn into House." That's not a bad choice to have, Foreman. Wahaha.
