valentine's day is...

...a special day for couples, but for everyone else, it's just an ordinary day.

I heard that from Dr. Cameron of House, by the way.

Well, today's the day where I got sick of seeing bouquets, cakes and gifts everywhere. Perhaps I was just envious of them, but really, do I even want any of those for Valentine's Day?

Nah, I wanted someone to show up. Maybe it's that simple for me.

But even if fate didn't really want it to happen, I wasn't sulking myself to death. Patricia, Jenny and I planned this day to be our date day. We wanted to have fun during Valentine's, just like every couple out there. And so we went to Greenbelt via LRT/MRT. It was all our first time getting off that station, and we really didn't exactly know how to go there. But then again, we did reach GB, so...what am I talking about again?

Moving on, we ate our lunch at Cascada, then ate ice cream at the third floor (nice time for forgetting the name of the store, Jess) and finally watched Jumper. I had to admit, that movie (concept- and effects-wise) was so cool, except that I thought the movie lacked enough drive to get you excited. I didn't even know what happened to Griffin. I liked him a lot! (Or was it because he had an accent? XD) Never mind. It was okay though.

Well, I didn't spill the details of all of those here because I'm too lazy to tell it to everyone. Besides, it's all private information you're talking about! Haha. And I have people to greet!

Oh well, it was a different kind of Valentine's Day, and really, it doesn't matter if you got a gift and a date or not.

I still wish (so hard) that you were here though.
