waiting for a wish come true


2:43 PM.

I casually looked at my watch to check the time.

But time didn't seem to move as fast as I wanted it to, especially today.


I never liked going to class.

But as everyone probably would agree with, I did so because I had no choice.

One way or another, going to class every single day and trying not to be sick just so I could attend all the time, these would help me and my future.


Yet I still spaced out and thought about you while I eagerly awaited my so-called freedom.


2:53 PM.

I looked outside.

Knowing that thinking about you this way made me seem a little delusional, I couldn't help but imagine it could be as real as I wanted it to be.

I looked for you outside.

I was being delusional, wasn't I?


I tried to take you out of my mind.

I thought about what to study, worried about the tardiness of my professor, and even stared at my classmate for no apparent reason.

But it all went back to thinking of you.


2:59 PM.

I still eagerly waited for something.

No, not something.

I eagerly waited for someone; someone who clearly wasn't even going to arrive.

But I still eagerly did.

Waiting. Still am.
