MY DAD BOUGHT A "LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA" BLU-RAY. FOR HIM TO WATCH. ALKDLSKDSF
I'm so sorry for the sudden attack lol. You're probably wondering why I only managed to post on SUNDAY NIGHT when obviously my weekend starts on Friday. I had three papers to finish last night, and because three papers are impossible in one night, I had to finish one today. And last "night", I slept at four in the morning btw. [/unnessary rambling]
So anyway, I somehow knew that my dad was, at the least, interested, in watching it, but I didn't actually think he'd buy it. I knew of the interest when this happened:
Dad: *browsing internet*
Me: *Arashi-ing XD*
Dad: Dear, what do you think of Letters of Iwo Jima? Should I buy it?
Me: That's Nino's movie! :D:D:D
Dad: I know, you told me before. Is it any good?
Me: I haven't watched the entire thing, but many people say it's good. Are you going to buy it? :D?
Dad:
Dad: I'm looking for movies [that have Blu-ray] are worth buying. (Yes, he's now a techie freak XD) I'll see if I'll get this one.
Me: Oh okay.
But you have to note here that I wasn't sad when that conversation ended, because I had a copy of Iwo Jima in my laptop. XD And then last night we had this conversation again:
Dad: *watching DVD*
Me: *enters room*
Dad: Are you going to watch Hairspray? You said you wanted to.
Me: I can't. D: I have 3 papers to finish by tonight.
Me:
Me: Say, did you buy that Iwo Jima DVD? (He later on corrected me with "Blu-ray disc". Dads. XD)
Dad: Yeah, I did. :)
Me: Really? :O Who will bring it to you?
Dad: Your Uncle. He'll arrive by tomorrow morning.
Me: *trying not to spazz* YAY! Let's watch it next week! :D
Dad: Sure!
I LOVE MY DAD. I REALLY DO. [/unnecessary comment]
And so, here's the evidence. He was watching I-Robot earlier so we haven't had the chance on catching a glimpse of the movie. I love I-Robot though. :P
Oh and before I forget:
Me: Why didn't you buy the Flags of our Fathers instead?
Dad: Oh. The review's not that good. The review for Iwo Jima is better.
He also said that he chose Iwo Jima because it's an award-winning film. :) And then I went babbling along that Flags and Iwo Jima were practically shot at the same time blah blah blah. XD
On a different note, I might post the rules of the virtual cards... before next week comes. I promise. I just realized that this week would be an extension of our hell week last week. *sighs* I'm hanging on, don't worry :D
