please someone stop me


Too late. XD

Since this was supposed to be posted a week ago, a lot has already happened during that week. But of course, I have to explain why I have to "change" the title, don't I?

To put it all simply, I have already fallen into the trap of the Arashi-is-so-cool notion. Oops. I already told Jenny this, that I needed someone to stop me before I'd end up fangirling the entire group (instead of just Matsumoto Jun). Well, again, just as I had predicted, before I even realized it completely, I could already see myself downloading Arashi-related stuff and searching for them on YouTube. I believe it all started when...I tried to distinguish one member from the rest, although I think I've completely fallen for their collective insanity (Yes, I call it that) when I watched their Valentine's guesting on a show called Utaban (where fellow JE talent and the boys' senpai Nakai Masahiro of SMAP is a regular).

Oh well, the rest is history, as they say. (How cliched. XD)

I officially announce it: I'm now an Arashi fan.
Can I have my badge/diploma now? XD

Surely, before I fell into that so-called trap called "Arashi" (Sorry about the sudden silliness outbursts. Must be their influence. Haha.), I told myself that I refused to be a fan of yet another band. You see, the trouble of idolizing a band (or any musical person or group for that matter) is that you have to follow them/him/her EVERYWHERE, since they don't really have a stable TV show or movie. But then again, Arashi has their own TV show (two in fact) and they even had three movies together. So what was my point again?

Since I couldn't stop myself, I figured, "What the heck, might as well go with it." And then I discovered a word...

Jun Bait (n./vb.) - getting hooked on Arashi because of Matsumoto Jun.

Mm-hmm. You guessed it. I was Jun Bait. Sometimes I think that's not entirely good, but in general, when you think about it, it's a very good thing, right? At least Jun has the ability to attract more and more fans. ^__^

And you know what? I was totally wrong about the it's-hard-to-follow-music-people-because-they-are-EVERYWHERE kind of thinking. It's true that now I have to search for Arashi singles/PVs/albums in every corner of the world, but I tell you, it's really worth it for me. (Arashi makes me happy and makes me feel hopeful.) Besides, these boys work so hard, so why not give credit to what they do?

So now, I can really say that I don't just love Jun, but I love Sho, Nino, Aiba and Ohno as well. (Perhaps you're guessing on how would I elaborate this part, huh? See part 2 of the post. =P)
