another open letter

Nope, that's not going to do it.

That one sucked.

Well, I just can't write a decent poem nowadays. Maybe I just want to say one thing.

I'm missing you once more. Probably no one notices it, even myself, because of all the hype I've been into, those Asian dramas, Japanese male idols and whatnot. Perhaps you're even wondering why I'm not doing anything to get rid of this feeling. To tell you the truth, I don't have enough courage to do such things. I always tell myself that I'll do it, but that statement only stays in the future. Don't worry though, it's not your fault. It never was. I guess I'm still not ready to see you again, and unfortunately, I don't know when I will be.

But I miss you. I long for the times when all I thought about was you; how you were doing, what you had been busy about, if you were seeing someone. I take into account the fact that you have your own life; I am just curious about what goes on in it. Regardless, I've always hoped you think of me the same way, as silly as it sounds. Somewhere in my mind, I believe that you do. I don't know why, but I do. I choose to believe that.

Even if you actually don't think that way, I know that in the same way, you long for someone, one who can understand everything that you are, one who can appreciate everything you will give and do. While I'm not aware of whom you have in mind, I know in your heart that it signifies the perfect person for you. And I have to admit; I wish I was her, even so until you haven't met her yet. But of course, I can never be sure.

Still, what the both of us can do is wait. Wait for the right time, the right moment. We'll never know; one day I might accidentally bump into you, or you might happen to offer me a seat at a local subway. One thing is for sure; I know that moment will most certainly be magical, even just for me. But until then, I'm willing to wait for that to happen.

How funny is it that a simple pronouncement of longing actually turned to be a significant declaration of affection? Gosh, I've ended up writing an open letter for you once again, haven't I? I'm supposed to make a poem which could possible be not even intended for you. I guess my feeling of yearning exceeds my feeling of inspiration, not that it's bad.

All I know is, whether you'd actually believe what I've been telling you or you'd just laugh it off, at least I've let you know everything. How I wish I could know every thought that crosses your mind, every emotion that enters your heart, every action that makes you who you are. Since I can't, I'll still be hoping for that day, when I can finally able to meet you face-to-face, to truly verify your existence in my ever-so-humble life.
